Thank you all for coming and making the INSIDE OUT Schönleinstraße Streetfest such a pleasant event! The drawings all you good people made are wonderful! And what lovely weather we had — probably the last warm day of the year.
For your enjoyment, we gathered some photos of the Polaroid Self-Portrait Drawing Contest, the Tombola, and the in-crowd at the Cheese Mountain Tragedy.
On Saturday, September 17th 2011, we’ll have a small festival in our street. Besides the Cheese Mountain Tragedy, 11 other shops take part. There will be performances, readings, exhibitions, food & drinks, music, fashion & more.
The Cheese Mountain Tragedy will hold a Draw-On-Polaroids Self-Portrait Contest & Tombola with lots of cool prizes!
Join us, discover our lovely street with all it’s small shops and have fun!

Well, this isn’t really new anymore, but it’s so awesome I have to share it with you: “Riding On A Horse Called Change” — one of the first pieces Johan Potma painted here in the Cheese Mountain Tragedy. The world needs more gentlemonsters!!
Last month Johan & Josh gave an interview on KiezNetz (German only), and Josh honoured that event with a diary strip:
What a nice evening, what a great start — thanks to everyone who came to our Grand Opening of the Cheese Mountain Tragedy. We had so much fun! We’re still amazed by how many people showed up…
Special thanks to Niels for providing our guests with an amazing BBQ, and Christine & Ginger for taking over the bar.
